Management:
As CEO of BUZZMEDIA, Tyler Goldman oversees all strategy and business development for the company and its family of complementary Internet properties. Prior to BUZZMEDIA, Tyler was Senior Vice President, Business and Corporate Development at Movielink, where he guided the company's growth and its strategic partnerships with such companies as Time Warner Cable, AT&T and AOL. Before Movielink, Tyler founded Broadband Sports, Inc. (BSS), a pioneering Internet publisher and syndicator of sports content. As CEO, he developed distribution partnerships with DirecTV, Fox Sports, Yahoo!, ESPN, AOL and eBay, and was responsible for the company's $20+ million in sales. Before discovering his passion for the Internet, Tyler headed media and investment initiatives for the country's preeminent sports law firm, Steinberg & Moorad. He was also an attorney at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Tyler began his career selling sodas and peanuts at Candlestick Park in Junior High and has been known for sending proposals via singing chickens.
A senior advisor to BUZZMEDIA since August 2008, Alan Citron now serves as President, overseeing all programming, marketing, engineering and product development for the company's portfolio of music and celebrity properties. A veteran Internet executive, Alan was previously founding General Manager of TMZ, one of the most successful editorial start-ups in the history of the Internet. A former L.A. Times reporter and editor, he was the founding President of Ticketmaster Online. Alan subsequently served as chairman of Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, and President of USA Networks Interactive under Barry Diller. He was also the founding President of MusicNet, one of the first digital music services.
A music and Internet junkie, Anthony Batt saw a tremendous need for an online community where people could share and consume music photos. As a result, Buzznet.com was born in 2005. As founder, Anthony has been instrumental in growing the company into a major player in social media, developing its proprietary publishing platform, raising financing and developing strategic partnerships. Prior to Buzznet, Anthony was Chief Technology Officer for Metapa (now Greenplum), Manager of Internet Publishing for Time Inc., and lived in Hong Kong and Malaysia where he where he served as President of Technology and Products for AsiaConnect, and launched the National Newspaper Radio and Television of Malaysia. He also played a significant role in the development and launch of his friend Craig Newmark's site, Craigslist.
As CFO/COO of BUZZMEDIA, Matt is responsible for financial oversight of the company, including financial sourcing and strategic planning. Matt also serves in a senior operations capacity, directing much of the daily business operations of the company. Prior to joining BUZZMEDIA, Matt was the CFO at Movielink, a joint venture among Warner Bros. Studios, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment and MGM. In that role, Matt was responsible for all financial strategy and operations of the company and led the sale of Movielink to Blockbuster, Inc. in 2007. Matt began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided financial advisory and accounting assurance services to companies in the technology, entertainment and manufacturing sectors, such as The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, ABC Networks, ADESA Corporation, and Hillenbrand Corporation. Matt is a graduate of Indiana Universitys Kelley School of Business.
